Have you ever lied on the internet? Why?

lolllll i meant like whats a silly way youve lied on the internet before? there was no bad implications behind this question, i was just bored. my bad you guys!

no worries friend, didnt mean to interrogate ya! *catholic confession booth voice* ive lied one million times on the internet but it's always been for the bit. actually a few times ive saved really cool photos from travel or wtv and pretended to post them spontaneously. those are the only times ive lied I think :P

in some ways, we are all offering a disingenuous version of ourselves online. i think a lot of people are lying online a lot of the time, or not lying but presenting fascade

i used to play as a boy on club penguin so i could go on dates with girls at the pizza parlor. even tho i am a girl :o

i used to play as a girl on runescape so boys would give me free stuff (i still play as a girl but i feel like everyone on there just assumes you are a ~27 year old man no matter what your avatar is)
