re: generally making it weird with sex - have you heard of a want / will / won't list? i learned about this a million years ago via this youtube video (i forget how to do links i'll just paste it at the end). i think it's a good starting point for talking about sex, and i like want / will rather than yes / maybe (commonly cited list format). and/or have your partner take the kink test! people love that thing. everyone loves to take a quiz and have another person be interested in their result. i think you can learn a lot by talking and being open and non judgmental. and of course talk about how much you love the sex you do have (or don't have but once did have), how sexy you think they are, and because they're so sexy it just makes you wannuhhhhhh *insertyourdreams*
